Top Performers: Kaizen Sports Agency Athletes Selected to CHL USA Prospects Challenge
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Penticton, BC – October 21, 2024 – Kaizen Sports Agency proudly announces the selection of two elite prospects, Carter Bear and Joshua Ravensbergen, to represent Team CHL in the groundbreaking 2024 CHL USA Prospects Challenge presented by Kubota.
Bear, 17, a dynamic two-way forward from West St. Paul, Manitoba, has demonstrated exceptional offensive abilities with 15 points (7G, 8A) in just 10 games this season. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound prospect previously recorded 57 points during the 2023-24 campaign, establishing himself as a top 2025 NHL Draft prospect.
Ravensbergen, the Prince George Cougars’ starting netminder, has posted an impressive 6-1-2-1 record in the current season. The 17-year-old’s selection follows a breakthrough 2023-24 campaign, where he secured 26 victories and six shutouts, leading the Cougars to the Western Conference Championship Series.
“Carter and Joshua exemplify the modern athlete’s journey to excellence,” says Michael O’Rafferty, Senior Managing Director at Kaizen Sports Agency. “Their achievement reflects not just talent, but an elite level of humble confidence and a blue-collar mentality that sets them apart. While this milestone is significant, their resilience and self-belief have been the true catalysts for their success.”
The CHL USA Prospects Challenge marks a significant addition to the hockey calendar, featuring elite prospects ahead of the 2025 NHL Draft in a two-game series against USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program (NTDP).
