Jake Lucchini Signs One-Year NHL Contract with Nashville Predators

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Penticton, BC – Jake Lucchini has signed a one-year, two-way NHL contract with the Nashville Predators for the 2026–27 season. The deal carries an NHL value of $850,000.

In 48 games this season with the Milwaukee Admirals, the 6-foot forward has produced 13 goals and 38 points, ranking second on the club in assists (25) and overall scoring. He sits tied for third in goals. His game has been consistently impactful.

Last season, he led Milwaukee with 21 goals — a career high — and finished second in team scoring with 45 points. His 24 assists ranked third. The numbers reflect acceleration. The trajectory is upward.

Undrafted and now in his eighth professional season, Lucchini has carved his path with pace and edge. He made his NHL debut with the Ottawa Senators on December 14, 2022, and later appeared in three games for Nashville in 2024–25. Across 54 career NHL games with Ottawa, the Minnesota Wild, and Nashville in the National Hockey League, he has recorded six points (3G, 3A).

At the American Hockey League level, Lucchini has built a substantial body of work: 385 games, 243 points (104G, 139A). Production sustained over time. Earned opportunity.

“Jake competes with speed and intent,” said Michael O’Rafferty, Senior Managing Director of Kaizen Sports Agency. “This contract reflects the level he’s established and the trust he’s built. We’re proud to represent him and appreciative of the development staff in Milwaukee who continue to push players forward.”

This is progression by design.
