FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Penticton, BC – March 25, 2026 – Kaizen Sports Agency has expanded its representation model with the launch of its Baseball Division, led by Cole Van Every. The division builds on Kaizen’s established success in hockey, where the agency has developed and represented athletes across the NHL, AHL, CHL, and NCAA through a focused, development-first approach.
Van Every is a former Canadian student-athlete who competed in NCAA Division II baseball, where he was runner-up for Freshman of the Year and finished second all-time in career strikeouts at his program. A five-year starting pitcher, he built a reputation for consistency and durability before transitioning into coaching at the collegiate level, contributing to player development and team success. His path reflects the same long-term mindset Kaizen applies across its athlete model.
He will be supported by Daniel Martin, named Baseball Associate for Alberta, along with a Pacific Coast Associate to be announced.
“This was not about adding a sport,” said Senior Managing Director Michael O’Rafferty. “It was about finding the right leader and building it the right way. Cole understands development and accountability. That aligns with how we operate.”
The Baseball Division begins operations immediately, with a focus on identifying and guiding athletes through each stage of their careers.
